Q1: Can you introduce yourself to the Fox community and the story behind creating Axes Metaverse?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: My name is Andrey, and I’m Chief Product Officer of Axes Metaverse. I have a wide experience in crypto, being CPO in crypto projects for more than 4 years, while my first investments in it were done starting from late 2013. I’m also a passionate gamer myself and I believe that Play-to-earn approach will shift the approach of how the games are built.
We, at Azur Games, had noticed the changes coming to the industry and decided to become one of the first big game development companies to join this trend. Let me drop you a couple of numbers, so it would be easier to understand how huge Azur Games is:
- Top-4 mobile game publisher in 2021
- More than 2B+ installs for over 100 published titles
- More than 30 million daily players enjoy our games
So we came up with an idea to tokenize one of our existing and successfully performing games called Axes.io. It’s a classic battle royale with a simple yet catchy gameplay: you run along the diminishing arena throwing axes at other players until you become the last one standing alive.
Our plans to make a step into Play-to-earn are very ambitious: we want not only to tokenize a single mobile game but to expand it to a metaverse — an altering virtual world where you as a player can be engaged in a variety of gameplay modes, quests and stories.

Q2: We are very interested with this and want to know more about Axes Metaverse. Can you briefly describe what is Axes Metaverse to us?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: The key point here is that we aim to create a metaverse centered around NFT characters. Players will be able to compete and farm in different game modes, evolve their NFTs and so on. The obvious first step is to tokenize Axes.io gameplay and it will inevitably be changed: new characters (stay tuned for announcements in the next few days ☺️), new competitive system are to be implemented in order to integrate play-to-earn mechanics.

Q3: Metaverse is really hype at the moment and there are so many new projects that launched and focus on Metaverse. Can you explain to us, what makes Axes Metaverse different from other competitors?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: Nowadays it’s clear that the P2E market is already booming with dozens of projects but Axes Metaverse significantly stands out for a number of reasons. Firstly, our metaverse is based on an already successful project, while most of our competitors only have begun to raise money for MVP. Secondly, Axes Metaverse is developed by a well-known company that has a name in the gaming industry, while most of the projects are started by crypto enthusiasts and struggle with building a strong game-development team.

Q4: Project achievement is very important for the project. What are the major milestones Axes Metaverse has achieved so far?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: We have already closed our Game Asset Offering (GAO #1) for $1M, $500k on Public sale in around 30 minutes on 19th of December and $500k in Private sale on 18th of December, where several tier-1 funds have taken part in. Moreover, we have already concluded a partnership with YGG, i believe, that everyone know them. And of course we have gathered 70k members in our Discord, Telegram and Twitter community in total.

Q1: We know a lot of nft projects that have something in common, and that makes the project look boring, what updates or plans will the Axes Metaverse team do to have their own characteristics, and I’m still curious how the Dungeons work?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: We are building Metaverse. It is story-based. We are not copycatting other games, we have taken our own game as a basis and our huge experience in game dev + understanding what mechanics really work.
NFT is the center of our metaverse. You can play using them and earn tokens, do passive farming and so on. In the upcoming GAO #2 we will release the second wave of character NFTs for a very fair and affordable price. And of course, when the marketplace will be opened 24/7, you will also be able to purchase NFT heroes from the first wave, which were released during the GAO #1

Q2: I noticed there will be “Tournament” in Axes Metaverse game. Can you give us more explanation about this? How can we participate in this “Tournament” ? Are there any special requirements to enter this “Tournament” ? And what kind of reward can we get from this “Tournament” ?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: You can check the details of the available gaming mods on our website, as for Tournament, I could say only 1 thing, that players who hold Axes Metaverse tokens will be able to participate in Game Governance and decide what tournaments should be and when should they being launched.

Q3: Your project is very important but it needs large user traffic to be sustainable over time. What marketing strategies do you have planned to increase the validity of your brand? Are you planning a strategic partnership to level up your project?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: As I said before, we have already concluded several partnerships with VC funds from different regions, like Turkey, Philippines, Indonesia, China, Latin America and so on. Moreover we have make a partnership with YGG, the top gaming guild worldwide, and of course all the partnerships will bring us awareness with the help of KOLs associated with our partners.

Q4: People always check about safety and security from any project because much hack issue right now, I would like to know how is the safety from your project? How did you make sure that you are secure?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: Safety is a very important aspect in our industry. We strive to comply with all industry safety standards and regulations. We put security as our first priority, which is why we have serious experts in blockchain, wallet infrastructure, exchanges and cryptobanks in our team. The entire blockchain part of the project will be strictly audited by leading security contractors.
Actually, we had already done our NFT smart-contract audit in December. Here is some information about our audit provider:

Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: You’re absolutely right, partnerships are a crucial part of project success. At the moment, we are working on a partnership with the top blockchain having GameFi-friendly ecosystem. As for allies we already have onboard, we have a partnership with the payment processor who would allow us to onboard the gaming audience we have in our games to Axes Metaverse, a number of advisors who help us to grow the community, more than 10 VC funds are already in and of course, as I said before, we have made a partnership with YGG. FOX community: Do you have any plan for building Nfts into your eco system because that is the hottest topic on crypto space?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: As I said before, NFT is the center of our metaverse. You can play using them and earn tokens, do passive farming and so on. Join our community in order not to miss the second Game asset offering, which will be launched on 30th of January and we are planning to close it in 10 minutes, so hurry up!
FOX community: What role does the community play in the Axes Metaverse? What have you done and will do to attract people to join Axes Metaverse and build a thriving community?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: Community is the most important part of our project. As I said before, Azur Games has 2B+ installs from more than 100 countries, we actually have 30M+ daily active players and all of the just common players, non-crypto. And having such a broad audience it would be strange if you won’t try to shift them into p2e crypto-players. So we have plans for an ambassadorship program for our crypto community, where there are nearly 50k people already in. The program will be concluded in helping our non-crypto players in onboarding to p2e. Just imagine how much value we can bring to the p2e industry.
FOX community: Can you list 1- 3 Killer features of your project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the Competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about.
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: Other P2E projects show that the more game content, the higher the value of game assets. For example: Heroes & Empires: their chests during GAO were sold for 250 HE, and after 2 months they were sold already for 1800 HE.
Last few months the value of in-game tokens and assets is not as volatile as other tokens.
We know how to make games and present them, so the longer you hold assets, the more valuable they will become after the introduction of NFT passive farming, the ability to rent them and other unique features that we will announce later.
FOX community: One of the issues with NFT games was that users only stayed in the game when they won tiny prizes, causing the project’s liquidity to suffer. This reality is taken into account by Axes Metaverse, which controls economic methods to help true fans of the game?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: I love this question! Our token and NFTs have sustainability mechanics that will be described in the Metaverse whitepaper. In addition, “value” follows the progress of game development and updates, you can check this out by researching what other live play-to-earn projects do. And since we have a huge experience at game design and development, we’ll bring you something interesting to the table :)
FOX community: What are the ways for your project to generate revenue in the long run? What is the progress of business development and what are some of your commercial partnerships?
Andrey Abramov - CPO of Axes Metaverse: Sure! Axes Metaverse is an ambitious project that is going to mark the beginning of the P2E era for Azur Games. Our team has more than 400 professionals that work all over the globe. We have agencies in Moscow, Larnaka, Dubai and Minsk. Moreover, we have huge expertise in the gaming industry. In 2021 we became a top-4 mobile game publisher worldwide. Axes Metaverse is going to become a pioneer among blockchain projects of huge gaming companies.
